Dr. Amron earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his dermatology residency at UCSD, followed by a research fellowship at UCLA. He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of several medical societies, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Liposuction Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

‍A respected international speaker and surgical advisor, Dr. Amron trains select surgeons worldwide in his specialized techniques. He is the creator and host of Lippy Logic™, the first comprehensive YouTube series dedicated to lipedema education, and the founder of the Lipedema Society™, whose mission is to advance public and professional awareness, medical education, research, and advocacy for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of Lipedema and other fat disorders.

‍In 2023, he published the Amazon best-selling book “Liposculpture and Lipedema Surgery: A Guide for the Patient and Pearls for the Surgeon,” which captures his patient-centered philosophy and offers patients and professionals a detailed look into his surgical approach.

As part of his commitment to comprehensive care, Dr. Amron will launch a research-backed supplement line this year, designed to support individuals living with lipedema.

‍He collaborates closely with Karen Herbst, Ph.D., M.D., Head of Research and Director of Diagnosis and Prevention at The Roxbury Institute. Dr. Herbst is a renowned expert in fat disorders and metabolic diseases, and her extensive research has significantly advanced the understanding of lipedema. Their partnership strengthens the scientific foundation of Dr. Amron’s clinical approach, integrating evidence-based research with surgical innovation to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with lipedema and related fat disorders.
